Cook (line & Prep)

Are responsible for the preparation of ingredients and stations used in the cooking process, as well as plating dishes and maintaining the kitchen and ensuring it is clean and sanitized. A Prep Cook is also known as a Food Preparation Worker.

Pastry & Baker

Pastry or dessert Chefs and bakers are kitchen specialists with an understanding of how to make pastries, desserts, bread and other baked goods. They measure and mix raw ingredients, bake and decorate items, and ensure that all raw and finished goods adhere to quality and food safety standards. They can work in a variety of food industries and will usually be a part of a larger team of chefs.

Sous Chef & Kitchen Manager

A Sous Chef or kitchen manager is typically the person under the Executive Chef. They are highly skilled professional cooks who oversee the operations of a facility. They are responsible for planning and managing the food preparation that comes out of a kitchen. These skills individuals performing a range of duties including planning menus, training new staff and recording inventory.

Sushi Chef

Sushi Chefs prepare sushi for restaurants, cafes, country clubs, hotels, and grocery stores. They use various fish-slicing and sushi-rolling techniques to prepare sushi dishes in accordance with established guidelines set out by their employers.
